We store the information for the period allowed by law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the information and the background for storage. Typically, information regarding potential customers will be deleted after the termination of the agreement or when the correspondence is deemed no longer relevant. Personal data of potential customers is deleted 2 years after the last contact.
Customers

We store the information for the period allowed by law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the information and the background for storage. Typically, information regarding customers will be deleted after the termination of the agreement. Personal data is deleted after the current financial year + 5 years after the end of the customer relationship.
Suppliers and Partners
To be a supplier and partner with us, it is necessary that we collect the following personal data about you: Contact details: Name, work email, work phone number, position, signature. We collect personal data about suppliers and partners for the following purposes:
- Processing our purchases/services.
- Administration of your relationship with us.
We collect this information on the following legal basis:

Typically, information regarding suppliers and partners will be deleted after the termination of the agreement. Personal data of suppliers and partners is deleted after the current financial year + 5 years after the delivery/cooperation is completed.
Privacy Policy for Job Applicants
When we receive your application, it will be reviewed and processed according to the guidelines below. The application and attachments will be shared internally with relevant personnel involved in the recruitment process. It may occur that we use an external recruitment agency, which will also have access to the application and attachments.
Processing of Personal Data
Personal data that emerges during the recruitment process will be processed on the following legal bases: legitimate interest and consent:
- The legitimate interest consists of finding the right candidate for the position, which necessitates processing the personal data provided in your application and accompanying attachments.
We store your application and attachments until we find the right candidate and the recruitment process is completed. Afterward, your application and attachments will be deleted. For unsolicited applications, we store your application and attachments for 6 months, after which they are deleted. If we wish to keep your application and attachments for more than 6 months, we will contact you to obtain your consent for this. Your consent is voluntary, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us using the contact information provided above.
Other Information on Processing
Security
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent your information from being accidentally or unlawfully deleted, disclosed, lost, degraded, or accessed by unauthorized persons, misused, or otherwise processed in violation of the law. The data controller ensures that processing can only take place when all data protection principles are met, according to GDPR Article 5. We have developed instructions and measures that protect your personal data from being destroyed, lost, or altered, from unauthorized disclosure, and from unauthorized access or knowledge. JCD A/S also has established procedures for sharing access rights with employees. To avoid data loss, we regularly back up our data sets.
Video Surveillance
As part of the security measures around JCD A/S's physical premises, there is video surveillance in the area. We will always ensure that all use of video surveillance complies with the TV Surveillance Act. In cases where video surveillance is used on roads, streets, squares, or similar areas used for general traffic, we will register it in the police's register of TV surveillance cameras (POLCAM). All recordings are stored for 20 days, after which they are deleted.
Data Minimization
We collect, process, and store only the personal data necessary to fulfill our specified purposes. Additionally, it may be determined by law which types of information are necessary to collect and store for our business operations. The type and extent of the information we process may also be determined by the need to fulfill a contract or another legal obligation.

Disclosure of Information
We use a number of third parties for storage and processing of information, including providers of IT solutions. These parties process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. In relevant cases, data is disclosed to banks, debt collection agencies, shipping companies, public authorities, lawyers. We only use data processors in the EU or third countries that have the necessary security guarantees, as well as companies in countries that can provide adequate protection for your information.

Joint data control means that no personal data is disclosed, but both parties are responsible for the purpose and processing of personal data. - You have the right at any time to be informed about the data we process about you, where it comes from, and what we use it for. You can also be informed about how long we store your personal data and who receives data about you to the extent we disclose data in Denmark and abroad.
- If you request it, we can inform you about the data we process about you. Access may be limited due to other persons' privacy protection, trade secrets, and intellectual property rights.
- If you believe that the personal data we process about you is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. You must contact us and inform us of the inaccuracies and how they can be corrected. Please be precise about your correction, otherwise, it will complicate our work and may, in some cases, lead to us being unable to comply with your correction.
- In some cases, we will have an obligation to delete your personal data. This applies, for example, if you withdraw any consent given. If you believe that your data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which we collected it, you can request to have it deleted.
